Strategic intellectual property counseling
Maximilienne (“Max”) Giannelli focuses her practice on advising clients on intellectual property issues in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological areas.
Max has nearly 20 years of experience assisting clients with due diligence investigations and patenting strategy and has provided numerous opinions on issues-related patent validity/invalidity and infringement/non-infringement. She has litigated high-stakes intellectual property matters before US district courts and the US International Trade Commission and argued on behalf of a patent owner at the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board and US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
Prior to joining McNeill PLLC, Max was an attorney at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP. She was also a law clerk to the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
